Delaware Park Race 7 • Small Wonder Stakes (Non-graded) • 2YO Fillies • 3:30 EST A nice field sprinting 6 furlongs on the dirt today. Half of the field tries blinkers for the first time; I’m not considering any of those on top. 1 Bound by Destiny is 3-for-3 lifetime and stretches out a half furlong today. Not entirely convinced she wants the distance, but there’s no doubt she’s faced the toughest competition in her young career out of this group. Expect a short price. 3 Chickieness has two seconds and one win on her resume. She should benefit from the added distance and retains red-hot jockey Jaime Rodriguez in the saddle today. 4 Talk to the Judge gets Lasix for the first time today and should be forwardly placed. She went gate-to-wire on debut and takes a big step up in class today. We’ll find out if she has any tactical speed going against winners for the first time.
