You can access free PPs for DRF’s daily featured race here. The following is my race analysis pre-scratches.
Belmont Park Race 8 Mares 4YO+ Perfect Sting Stakes 4:40 EST Above average, but small, field of six here today in a non-graded stakes race going a mile on the Widener turf course. The 4 Cheermeister last raced in July of 2020 but still figures to be the early speed in the race. I’ll be shocked if she takes this one, though. The 5 Love And Thunder looks to be an underlay, even though she may very well take it. She’s the class of the race for sure. The mare I’ve landed on figures to be more forwardly placed and has faced the toughest opponents in her race history. I’m talking about the 1 Jouster for Todd Pletcher and Luis Saez. We could do worse for a jockey/trainer combination. Another horse that I’m looking to get in the exacta/tri that will be coming late with Love And Thunder is the 6 Messidor. A winner last time out for the Christophe Clement barn, Javier Castellano stays aboard today, and the outside post looks to be the perfect slot to get into position and make her one run down the stretch.
