Michigan/Villanova Over 135 -110 7:29 EST These two are a combined 30-17 against the number on the season when it is between 132 and 145. The Wolverines are 10-2 against the number on the road or neutral site games with an opponent defense that allows less than 67 points per game. Michigan has gone over in its last four and eight of ten. They’re playing well right now and will force a faster pace on Villanova tonight.
Texas Tech PK -110 vs. Duke 9:39 EST The Red Raiders might be the only team left in Duke’s path that can get them to play ugly. They will turn this Sweet Sixteen matchup into a dogfight. On the other end of the floor, Tech should be able to get the offense they want against the Blue Devils’ suspect defense. The Coack K farewell tour ends tonight.
Houston +1.5 -105 vs. Arizona 9:59 EST The second and third best college basketball teams (according to KenPom) hook up in what may be the best game of the Sweet Sixteen. The Wildcats get an unlucky draw against a Houston team that could’ve been as high as a 2 seed. Houston’s elite offensive rebounding versus Arizona’s superior size. The Cougars are 24-12 ATS on the season, including undefeated as an underdog or PK. The Wildcats needed everything to fall their way to get past TCU in the second round. I like Houston to win outright but will take the point-and-a-half at this price.
