PARX • RACE 6 • 2:10 p.m. ET [PPs] Looks like there could be an early pace battle between 1 Spirit’s Hero, 2 Private Sector, and 5 Jokemeister. Wins by each have come one the lead. That’s half of today’s field, and with little separation between them, it’s likely they’ll soften up and make way for an off-the-pace type to take this race. 3 Doctor Doom would seem to fit the bill, but I’m going to assume he goes off at far less than the 3-1 morning line, killing any value we could get there. Far more interesting are 4 Jovial and 6 Hotpot. Of the two, Hotpot has one from off the pace, so that will be my pick here today.
